In 2019, Brain Cancer Canada hosted a gala in tribute to the late singer and poet, Gord Downie, who passed away from the most aggressive type of brain cancer called Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM).  Selecting the perfect live entertainment was a tremendous decision in ensuring the success of the event while paying homage to the Canadian icon. Had to go out front to catch Practically Hip from the audience prospective. Wow I was mesmerized! The band was great and I thoroughly enjoyed Dean's very believable portrayal of Gord Downie. Very tough job imitating someone's every move and vocal inflections, I should know! He pulls it off in spades!
